HARD SKILL EXCHANGE
COOKIE POLICY
LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 11, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Hard Skill Exchange, a DBA of HYPCCCYCL, Inc. (“HSE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use hardskill.exchange and related HSE websites and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
- WHAT ARE COOKIES? Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website.
Some cookies are necessary for a website to operate. Other cookies and similar technologies can be used to understand how visitors use a website, remember preferences, measure performance, or support third-party features such as embedded video.
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies, which expire when you close your browser; or
- Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period or until deleted.
We may also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts. In this Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as “cookies” where appropriate.
- COOKIES WE USE. HSE uses two main categories of cookies and similar technologies.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Services to operate and cannot normally be disabled through our cookie banner.
They may be used for purposes such as:
- account login and authentication;
- maintaining secure sessions;
- preventing fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;
- maintaining website security;
- remembering your cookie preference; and
- providing functionality that you specifically request.
We do not require your consent for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the Services you request, where applicable law permits their use without consent.
Analytics and Site-Interaction Cookies
With your permission, we use analytics and site-tracking technologies to understand how visitors use HSE, diagnose problems, improve usability, and evaluate the performance of our Services.
Our current analytics and site-interaction providers include:
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand general website traffic, sessions, page visits, and how visitors interact with the Services. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which have a default expiration period of up to two years. Google confirms these cookies are used to distinguish users and maintain session state. Google Help
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages, including information such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, page performance, and session interaction patterns. Clarity may use first-party and third-party cookies and pseudonymous identifiers to associate page views and interactions. Microsoft Learn
ActiveCampaign Site Tracking. We use ActiveCampaign Site Tracking to understand visits to HSE pages and, where a visitor has previously been identified to ActiveCampaign, to associate website activity with that contact. ActiveCampaign states that its Site Tracking uses first-party cookies. ActiveCampaign Help Center
These technologies are not necessary for the basic operation of HSE. Where applicable law requires consent, we use them only after you accept optional cookies.
- EMBEDDED VIDEO CONTENT. Some HSE pages contain videos embedded from third-party services, including YouTube and Vimeo.
These providers may use cookies or similar technologies when embedded content is loaded or played. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy and cookie practices.
YouTube provides a privacy-enhanced embedding mode designed to reduce the use of viewing activity for personalization. Google Help Vimeo also uses cookies in connection with its embedded player and provides privacy-related player settings. Vimeo Help Center
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential storage or access associated with embedded media, we will obtain consent before enabling those non-essential technologies.
- ADVERTISING AND RETARGETING. HSE does not currently use cookies to serve third-party advertising, personalized advertising, or cross-site remarketing.
We also do not currently use Google Ads, LinkedIn advertising tags, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising technologies for remarketing or advertising measurement on HSE.
If our use of advertising technologies changes materially, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, obtain appropriate consent before using them.
- YOUR COOKIE CHOICES. When required by applicable law, HSE asks for your permission before using optional analytics, site-tracking, or other non-essential cookies.
You may:
- Accept optional cookies; or
- Reject optional cookies and continue using HSE with strictly necessary cookies only.
Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent you from using the core HSE Services, although certain optional third-party features, such as embedded media, may operate differently or may require additional interaction.
You may change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time by using the Cookie Settings link available on our website.
You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls vary by browser and device.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before you withdrew it.
- GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL. HSE recognizes and honors Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) and other legally recognized Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms where applicable, as described in our Privacy Policy.
A GPC signal may be used to exercise applicable rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. Because HSE does not currently use cookies for targeted advertising or cross-site remarketing, these activities are not part of our current cookie practices.
- HOW LONG COOKIES REMAIN ON YOUR DEVICE. Cookie duration depends on the technology and purpose involved.
Strictly necessary cookies may last only for a browser session or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant functionality.
Analytics and site-interaction cookies may remain for longer periods. For example, Google Analytics 4 cookies used to distinguish users and maintain session state have a default expiration period of up to two years, although browsers and HSE or provider settings may shorten that period. Google Help
Third-party providers may change the cookies they use and their retention periods over time. We periodically review the technologies used on HSE and update this Policy when appropriate.
- PERSONAL INFORMATION AND COOKIES. Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may include information such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device information;
- approximate location derived from IP address;
- pages viewed;
- referring pages;
- dates and times of visits;
- clicks, scrolling, and other interactions;
- session and device identifiers; and
- where applicable, information associating website activity with an existing HSE or ActiveCampaign contact.
For more information about how HSE collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information, and about your privacy rights, please review our Privacy Policy.
- CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology, practices, Services, or legal requirements.
When we update this Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by applicable law or by our policies.
