Julia Nimchinski:
Thanks. And next up, we’re moving to our next demo. Welcome to the show, Bradford Shannon, Principal Sales Engineer and Team Lead at Salesloft. How are you doing, Bradford?
Bradford Shannon:
I’m doing great, Julian. How’s it going today?
Julia Nimchinski:
Excited to feature you and dive in!
Bradford Shannon:
Awesome. Sounds good, sounds good. Well, without do, I will go ahead. The predictive revenue system, is, what we’re going to talk around through the platform known as Salesloft. My name is Bradford Shannon, I lead the enterprise sales engineering team for Americas, and we’re going to speak through the big problem that everybody’s trying to solve this year, and… the reality, is really what it is. And that is, we have the same business problems that we’ve had year over year. And… new money to spend on new technology, and that one this year, and it has been for a few, has been AI.
Over $644 billion spent last year, and largely, those businesses are not meeting their numbers. And we recognize that. Salesloft has always been at the forefront of execution, and we realize that there’s a gap between that and the intelligence behind it. Without the intelligence, the execution doesn’t necessarily net to anything. And without the execution, the intelligence. It’s just reporting. You can have the best insight in the world, but if you can’t activate on it, it’s not very useful. We’re living in the middle of all of that, like we mentioned, inside of your applications, your platforms, that aren’t helping you close that gap because your systems don’t work together, and your AI doesn’t work together, and you’re left with the disappointing results at the end of the day.
That’s the fundamental problem we’re set out to solve. And we are very aware that those experiences are two very distinct ones, one of the individual and one of the leader. I’m gonna call them doers and planners. And we… we know that we’re not creating, we’re not necessarily creating an experience that melds over both of them as a common denominator, as across every persona, we’re looking to serve up what you need, and nothing else that you don’t need. An experience that’s built purposely for you. Thinking about all of your data. Signals. MCP extensibility. And the separation of experience slash use cases of the folks that do, and also those that plan the sales.
Every person should be getting served what they need, and things that they don’t. We separate their signal from the noise. And here’s a nice visualization of what that might feel like within Salesloft. We have an organization that we’re engaging with, maybe through marketing and or sales, where they’re to interpret the data that’s coming inbound from them, prioritize those signals for leaders and sellers. Trigger the agents to help assist that human in the loop. And then push the next steps to the individuals responsible for executing.

Bradford Shannon:
And that starts looking a little bit like this. I’ve landed on my dashboard, my name is Kyle in this situation, and I have a big fresh cup of coffee in the morning ahead of me, and I’m just looking at my calendar, measuring the gaps between them, thinking about how I’m going to execute on my sales goals today, and hopefully the rest of the week. On my screen, I have a combination of analytics. I have a combination of due and overdue tasks in my week, and then a live feed of everything that’s happened in the past.
This is my pulse on my business. I’ll revisit this throughout my day, like I said, as I execute on meetings and sort through my internal inbox. I’m swamped with signals on dashboards every single day, and thankfully with Salesloft, they are synthesized into a task list. There’s a combination of those signals, like a DocuSign. Landing on my desk with one of my prospects, Kylie. She was supposed to sign that today, and she looked at it this morning. I might as well give her a call. Salesloft is nudging me in that direction to help me get this deal closed that’s due today.
I could see an expansion alert coming in from CRM or marketing data, sales loss there at my side, pointing me in the direction to ensure that I am there to execute on this very awesome opportunity to expand into one of my largest accounts. I might need help follow up on meetings. If I’m recording a call or a meeting, it’s very easy. One click, everything’s built for me with action items, and a very familiar email to send to my Prospects. Partnerships like ZoomInfo and other integrations will service those signals as integrated to also help with your account planning needs.
All that to be said that we’re foundationally built around an AI cadence. That’s an email written by Salesloft using intelligent context and agents to go to market. I could show you something templated, but I thought it’d be a little bit more fun to dive in and send truly an email. I have for in Salesloft. I’ve done a little bit of research with the system itself, and it was all done automatically. their agents went out, looked at things like the… Google, specifically, to capture previous information and conversations we’ve had. Truly, we haven’t had any conversations, so ours is net new here.
Using the best that we can interpret based off the organization that you’re aligned to. We’ve done extensive research with Google Deep, deep research, specifically through Gemini, to capture high-level information about your organization, and in the cadence that you’re in, write a full-fledged script so that I don’t know you, I can have a good conversation. I can answer questions you might have, I have an opening hook around things that you’ve done. Again, we haven’t had many conversations, but I could start somewhere that’s relevant to you, and you don’t want to hang up, you want to have a conversation, and that’s half the battle.
We’re seeing with this that teams are, on average, skipping 20% less call steps in their day, which is huge for outbound systems, where calls are back on track with voicemails. But teams are commonly skipping them. I can ask you key questions with confidence. I can also look forward to potential objections and how to handle them. myself, as someone completely coming in cold, I can now have a validated conversation with you. specifically around your goals. Scraping the internet for financial records, looking for your hiring focuses, looking at your tech stack, potentially. Also, looking at specific angles to your market, a customizable set of agents has done all of the research that each individual contributor on my team needs, no matter where you sit in our industry.
Post-sales, pre-sales, or somewhere in between. I have a talk track, and potentially a script that’s built custom for this market, coming directly from Marketo into something built custom for you, and it’s dynamic. Every person within your organization receives a different message. every time we have additional conversations, that context is brought into consideration at the account level. So we’re not missing anything, and we’re always up to speed.

Bradford Shannon:
Now, how am I going to coach on all of that? Salesloft will assist with the human in the loop by giving you dashboards upon dashboards, but also the agents to connect those dots. Oftentimes, the ball is dropped between analytic and coaching session, and the story It’s faded. We’re here to bridge that gap with every conversation, help your teams focus on the right things, find areas to improve, and then Point out strengths that they can leverage. All of this is tied together with every conversation, analyzed with complete context. automatically chapterized and built out for my team, integrated with Salesloft, to ensure that I can not only see the interesting things that have happened in the conversation, but I can follow up in one click.
Chapterized, topics pulled out, and even MedPick pushed directly back to my CRM. I mentioned… I mentioned integration. Everything within Salesloft is pushing directly to CRM, so if I need to start taking action, I can do so in a couple of clicks, and schedule that, and take action within moments. All, again, assisted by the agents and the next steps built out by the agents within the platform. Last? is how we look over our pipeline, speak through our opportunities, and of course, forecast. I, as a leader, have Clary Forecasting now built into my Salesloft experience, where I can see my most important deals, look to see if something has fallen behind, and quickly jump in, understand the insights, look at the past Potential conversations, meetings.
And then follow up as needed, based on my account plan and the previous history within the account itself. The same gaps are filled in my forecasting process. As a CRO, leader, or senior leader, I’m given the tools. To inspect and understand the numbers behind the deals. And then quickly jump in and analyze, again, at that granular level. Each of the opportunities within my team’s pipelines And so I can start. Running with intelligence? and commanding. From the entire platform. Again, this is serviced for both leaders and sellers. Coaching mechanisms are sent out as reminders and guidance on a weekly basis.
And you’re given the ability to revisit them on a periodic basis to ensure that your coaching is consumed, improved upon, and all the analytics in the backend are pushing to the systems of record and integrated both at the CRM level, and of course, at the MCP level for your revenue operations. And, of course, your leadership needs. At the end of the day, it’s about connectivity, from intelligence to execution. And ensuring that the context-aware actions are validated before going to the market. All of that in one hood is what Salesloft’s providing today to answer some of those long-term Revenue goals in the short term.

Julia Nimchinski:
Amazing session. Thank you so much, Bradford. Where is your vision, for this category? You had amazing acquisitions and a rebrand just recently. Are you able to share a little bit more what’s on the roadmap?
Bradford Shannon:
Absolutely. A little bit… a little sneak peek into what is on the roadmap is a more intelligent way to go to market. You saw a very standardized practice today, some of the if-then-then-that mechanisms, and we have re-imaged that into a dynamic, Agentic focus, one that is driven off of larger decisions versus a 1 or a zero, like today.
Julia Nimchinski:
And how do you see this category overall? Is it revenue, Agentic revenue orchestration? There are so many new AI-native players, more established players. Could you just share a little bit? How… how do you see that?
Bradford Shannon:
philosophically, I see the space evolving into one where it differentiates explicitly as a platform, where users are actually interacting with the system, and the need for an LM in between is completely eliminated. It could be there to answer long-term goals or create extreme plans, but otherwise the system is there to engage between the human interaction Seamlessly, in one click, with little to no input.
Julia Nimchinski:
Beautiful. And, yeah, thank you so much. We… I guess the next step is to scan the screen.
Bradford Shannon:
You guessed it, you guessed. We have a couple barcodes up here, or QR codes up here. Go ahead and scan them. You can get time booked with someone like myself, or one of my team members, and we can get a demo to you. Appreciate you guys. Thank you.
Julia Nimchinski:
Awesome. Thank you so much.
